After years of chasing his dreams, singer-songwriter Alex Woodard finally had a record deal and an album to promote. He offered to write a song for anybody who pre-ordered his self-titled release; all they had to do was send him a letter about their story, and he would write and record a song just for them at his kitchen table.

Be a Yes ................... !

A big part of the work I do involves leading week long trainings for people who want to learn to teach Baptiste Yoga, be leaders in their communities, and experience personal transformation. On the surface, these are yoga-teacher trainings, but really they’re about individuals breaking through to their real power by clearing out whatever is blocking them from being the most natural, authentic expression of themselves and creating an extraordinary life. People come from all over the world—Europe, Asia, South America, Canada, and even Africa—to participate in seven full days of transformational training, boot-camp style.

Dare to dreams .................. !

One of the greatest barriers to healing from any type of abuse or addiction is isolation. You may be like many survivors or addicts who have learned that by isolating, you feel safe, or at least may convince yourself you are safe. There are many myths about isolating that I’d like to invite you to challenge today.

Our earth star ............... !

During the four short years of the manned Apollo space program, from December 1968 to December 1972, six of the lunar missions landed humans on the moon and brought them back safely to Earth (and yes, they really did land on the moon). The program was named after Apollo, the Greek god of light, music, and the sun, and was as mythic as the god himself. What really surprised the astronauts, however, was not the moon itself, but the view of Earth from space.

Is It tomrrow yet ........... !

Like the lyrics from the Broadway musical, Annie, “Tomorrow! Tomorrow! I love ya, tomorrow! You’re always a day away!” and the characters in Samuel Beckett’s classic play, Waiting for Godot, an awful lot of us spend an inordinate amount of our lives waiting for tomorrow or for whatever the next something, someone, or somewhere is.
